     bead jewelry making with softflex or tigertail (nylon covered wire) how to make a bead dangle for your jewelry

    • Among all jewelry making instructions, making a bead dangle can be useful when you don't know how to make an eye loop or you don't have the right eye or head pin, for example.
    • This bead dangle has been done with a craft chain; Cut a small piece of Nylon Coated Wire , double it, string a bead, a crimp bead.
    • Flatten the crimp bead with a flat nose plier;
    • Trim the wire.

    How-To

    Open and close a jump ring

    pliers are basics tools for jewelry making

    • Take a look at the picture; Take one plier on each hand.
    • Place the jump ring between each plier.
    • Open and close gently.

    The jump ring is a link between a clasp and a specific finding like a bead tip, a cord tip, a clasp, a loop made with a nylon coated wire...So this jump ring needs to be perfectly close otherwise your jewelry will break !
