About Charming Jewelry Making

Bonjour, I am Lamia,

I 'm French of Indian descent and I was born and raised in Madagascar. This island has beautiful rocks and stones, this is why I came very early to love crystals and gemstones.
Today, my home is in Paris but I moved around a lot ( Japan, US and may be soon Hong Kong).
I studied in France and in the US, where I graduated from Parson's School of Design in NY (A.A.S. degree). I worked in interior design for many years. About ten years ago, as I was designing tablecloths and vases, I met a glass maker who convinced me to work with him on a glass jewelry collection.
This is how my journey in jewelry design began and I learned basic jewelry making techniques by myself.
During one of our stays in the US, I developed my knowledge in jewelry making techniques ( beading, wire making, precious metal clay).
Upon our return to Paris I decided to share my love of jewelry design.What better way than the web to do so, especially if as a mother I want to spend as much time with my two boys as possible, and since I can work with it everywhere around the world.

What else? As you know, English is not my mother tongue, so forgive me if it is not perfect, I do my best to use precise words and avoid spelling mistakes.
What do I love after family and jewelry? flea markets, cooking for friends and of course travelling.
I forgot, I practice reiki almost everyday and with reiki I discover the beautiful properties of the gemstones and crystals.Thank you for visiting my website and I hope you will find there ideas for you to make your very own jewelry!
