Flower Beads
For Unique Jewelry Making!
Flower beads can be found in different cultures and many countries.
From Italian millefiori ( 15 century) to Chinese, Indian, Indonesian ..., the list is endless. Floral elements have always been a source of inspiration for jewelry makers and other craftsmen.
There are different types of floral components.Some are handmade with different techniques and materials commonly used by craftsmen : carving (gemstone, P.M.C),enamel (cloisonné), metal working, glass techniques (millefiori, blown glass) papier mâché, polymer clay (millefiori) or P.M.C techniques ( carving, modeling and much more) are few examples.
Others are mass production ( Czech glass or swarovski crystal for example ).
All we can say is that there are all beautiful!
Leaves, flowers, blooms will add life and spice to a design.
The jewelry making market offers a big choice of these" beauties" in different shapes, sizes, colors, types...
