What is exactly "green fashion jewelry"?

You can see in many magazines from home, fashion or food magazines the concept of "eco green" or" eco friendly": Buying with consciousness.
For jewelry making, it might be buying seeds, wood… with an economic and ecological issue: It must protect or not destroy the planet.

Even though we, here at Charming-Jewelry-Making.com love using recycled glass, Tagua or kuikui beads coming from specific manufacturers, this article refers to the green color which is so trendy in the fashion industry.
This color has made a real come back this last few years and we came up with few ideas using green in different shades and with different types of beads.

Some jewelry are fully or almost green, others have green accents.
This springtime color can be mixed with grey, dark red, earthy tones for example.

❋This bracelet( first picture) is made with green glass and wood beads.

It is finished with a beaded bead made with glass Czech teardrops.

Actually it is the same design using green shade with black and dark red accent.
The necklace is made with the wire technique and the beaded bead with the right angle weave technique.

It uses green seed beads, sequins and cord on a mother of pearl donut.
You can find seed beads in any color you want and concerning green shades, you can find thousand of different ones from dark green to aqua green.

❋ Another idea is to make your own bead with green or another color.

We propose a simple bead making with polymer clay and seed beads. It does not take too long and it is easy.

❋If you want to make a jewelry quickly using green (or other) shades, you can string beads on 2 or more strands of transparent ribbons.

Here we have used silk thread but imagine a similar necklace with beads ( no drops) and ribbons with simple knots on each side of the beads separated with 3 or 4 cms of ribbon.
