Flee markets are the best place to find unique, one of a kind beads most of the time vintage one: You can find lampworked, Italian millfiori, polymer clay to name a few.

You can also make your own bead.

Again, the choice is endless, here are few examples

• If you would like to make your own bead in silver or gold, you can start with precious metal clay "PMC".
  It requires trainings and practice but it allows crafters to make high quality jewelry with a minimum of material.
  You will be able to make not only beads but charms from molds, your own findings …
• You can make your own glass bead but it requires material, a special space and I believe a long training.
• For easiest ideas
  You can make your own polymer clay bead.
  Again it requires practice and patience but you can get amazing results!
  As we like simple techniques,we propose here easy to make polymer clay beads embellished with seed beads or simple dots.
• You can make felted, crochet, cord, fabric, paper…
  It really depends with what medium you like to work, again the choice is endless.
• We are happy to share with 2 beaded bead designs.
  One is made with the right angle technique, the other one is flat beads, made with simple bead embroidery techniques.
  These flat beads can be glued or sewn in almost any support!
• You can also make simple flower bead with buttons.

These flowers are so fresh and colorful and so lightweight and real simple to make!

They have multiple purposes:

• I display them on tablecloths for dinner parties, they can be used for cushions embellishment, you can make wine rings, hair accessories…
• Another simple thing: you can glue a flat bead or a charm on a bigger one and you will get an original bead in a snap!
  I use this technique all the time with little trinkets collected in flea markets.
