Handmade Beaded Bracelet With Indonesian Beads

These lampwork glass beads are beautiful.Their motifs can be stripes, herringbones, flowers, eyes ... with a mix of bright and shiny ,glossy colors or matt,unpolished with soft colors. Your choice!
They are relatively inexpensive and easy to find in most craft stores.
For this bracelet, I picked up little tube beads with blue flowers and nicely framed by a yellow stripes: hot colors! The blue color is repeated with the turquoise glass czech beads.
The bracelet is strung in a elastic cord and finished with a double knot. A nice bracelet to make or to give to a young girl.

- Side drilled drops (glass)
- Czech turquoise glass beads
- Elastic cord
- Your tools
HOW-TO
- Make few bead charms with czech glass beads using the wire making technique, the eye loop technique
- Cut a piece of elastic cord
- String on 3 teardrops , a bead charm, 3 teardrops
- Repeat few time, string on a tube bead
- Repeat this pattern
- Double knot, glue, trim
Quick tips
For this kind of bracelet made with elastic cord, I always pick up beads with large holes (here:indonesian beads): I hide the knots and the tails in one of these beads, and I tried if it is possible to pass back the tails trough some beads for more security.
The elastic cord must not be too thin because the glass beads are heavy.
Your tools need to be always close by during your jewelry making project: a round nose plier,a flat nose plier, glue, scissors, cutter.
Have a good working, light and a comfortable chair.
