Supplies

For the necklace :

Different colors and sizes (you can get very big beads, up to 28 mm) of resin beads
Glass beads (here indonesian flower beads)
Square wood beads
Craft chain in copper
Eye pins

For the drop:

Vegetal ivory bead
Glass round beads
Glass drop beads
resin bead
Eye pins and head pins

How-To

The necklace

Decide first the length of the necklace.Make four sets of wood/resin/wood beads.
Make two sets of resin/ glass flower bead/resin beads. Cut six pieces of craft chain.
the first chain goes around your neck (piece n°1), alternate the chain ( piece n°1), wood/resin/wood beads, chain( piece n°2), resin/flower bead/resin beads, chain (piece n°3), wood /resin/wood beads, chain (piece n°4 ,has the drop attached to it), again wood/resin/wood beads, chain(piece n°5)resin/flower bead/resin, beads chain (piece n°6).This chain(6) is attached to the last set : wood/resin/wood beads

Each bead is attached to the next one with the simple loop technique,the beads are linked with the chain piece with the same technique.

The drop

Make a beaded bead using the right angle weave technique.
Link together : a resin bead, the vegetal ivory, a small glass bead, a beaded bead, a small glass bead.

Attach the drop to your necklace using eye loop wire technique

Quick tips

I did try to make this necklace with 21mm beads, it's just to big.12mm seems to be a good size.
Begin by selecting your beads, try to match different beads together before choosing the right mix.
Try if it is possible to look to your bead arrangement at the day light.
Your tools need to be always close by during your jewelry making project : a round nose plier, a flat nose plier, glue, scissors, cutterHave a good working, light and a comfortable chair.
