Plastic-Beads
Polymer Clay, Resin And Others

There are many types of plastic-beads!

Among them, you can find polymer clay, resin, imitation of glass or pearls…

We use polymer clay often for our jewelry.
The first picture shows "girly" earrings made with vintage polymer clay beads. These polymer clay beads can be mixed very well with Swarovski bicones.
You can make also your own polymer clay beads:
Here, you can see how to make your own bead with seed beads. They are easy to match with any types of beads, expect may be gemstones.
These beads are made only with polymer clay and embellish with dots. You can imagine fun and colorful jewelry, long necklaces, dangling earrings for example.

We like also resin beads because of their yummy colors and also because they are so lightweight. Plus, they are extremely easy to embellish. For example, the first picture of the designs with resin shows earrings made with resin beads embellished with metal bead caps. It is finished with turquoise chips. We have mixed all types of beads here: gemstones ( chips turquoise, mother of pearl leaves, seed beads and resin beads!).

The second picture shows a long necklace made with round resin and Balinese glass lampworked beads.

The third picture shows a drop made for a long necklace. Again we, embellished it with a nice flower bead cap. The idea was to play with different green colors!
Because of their subtle, deep and rich colors, resin beads can be easily matched with any other type of beads.

The last two pictures show other variety of plastic beads.
The long green flat beads finishes the lariat with class! and it's only plastic. A touch of "lettuce green" for this lariat made with dark red Czech beads interspaced by multi colored lampworked glass beads.

Finally, the last picture shows what we call here "faux" glass beads.
These blue faceted beads are plastic and cheaper and lighter than glass beads. For this pattern, we preferred to use light beads because this necklace is made only with light material (ribbon, thin chain and light metal beads).

You can make of course jewelry but also hair, home or fashion accessories accessories for example.
Their price, variety, colors, hardness make them very popular.
As we like to make fun and easy to wear jewelry, we use plastic beads a lot and we like particularly to mix them with other types of beads.

We are happy to share few design ideas.

˜Enjoy!˜

Plastic Beads

This lariat is ended with 2 flat green beads. We wanted to create a contrast with dark red color and repetition: the Indonesian bead patterns has green accents.
