Making a rose-quartz-jewelry is a wonderful gift idea (mother's day, birthday, baby shower…)

Rose quartz is one of my favorite gemstones. It has beautiful properties such as love, friendship, let it go, tenderness to mame a few.
Indeed, this stone is related to the heart chakra and is used by healers to rebalance it when someone is in pain, sad or unhappy. In some culture, it symbolizes fertility.

it has a pale, creamy, milky pink , almost translucent color which can be nicely enhance with craft findings such as pewter, antique gold or copper.

This rose-quartz-jewelry is made almost in a snap and we used here findings that you can find easily on the internet or in any craft store.
Two techniques have been used here: the eye loop (wire) and the fringe (beading).
If you look at the picture, you will see a tassel ended with little beads.
They are tiny Czech glass beads. These finishes are called" picots " or short fringes. They are made using simple beading technique.

These little picots have two purposes: finishing the rose quartz jewelry with a touch of pink ( repetition of the color) and add a touch of light with the yellow color.
Even though they are tiny tiny, you can still see them. If you are running out of time, you can add a tassel, but I think these little picots add a little something to the jewelry.

If you find this rose quartz jewelry too classy, you can add a round cord and glue an end cap at each end.
You can also add a long chain. If you add a cord, it must be a strong one to hold the pendant properly.
